You can tell you're doing something right when you have to make a "Group Reservation" to secure enough seats on the train!
Exceeding last year's tally of 10, this year we numbered 17. Needless to say the Patron was happy with us once again. Those taking part this year were: Andrew, Brian, Bruce, Dan, Jamie, Joris, Ken, Neil, Pat, Peter, Philippe, Rick, Steve, Stewart, Tim, Will and Norval.
For the 8th year in succession we are heading back for dinner at Les Rochat (and to sleep) before going on to the Creux du Van, once again stopping off for Saturday lunch at the Mont Chasseron Hotel.
Fortunately, we had two participants come down in their own transport. This proved very useful as we had, for the first time and hopefully the last, a couple of injuries which meant they could go by road on Sunday morning and meet up with us for our traditional fondue lunch at Ferme le Soliat.
